are we friends?
On November 28th, something beautiful happened: the first event of my social club, Linen Service, came to life. It was everything I had imagined and more—a gathering marked by energy, connection, and a sense of shared belonging that filled the room in ways I couldn’t have fully anticipated.
I’ve been dreaming of this moment for a long time. But dreams, when they finally arrive, always feel different in the best way. There’s a magic in watching something you’ve longed for materialize before you, and it’s even more profound when it’s met with the open-hearted presence of others. As the evening unfolded, I saw new bonds forming, conversations flowing as naturally as if they had always been waiting to happen. I felt the warmth of strangers becoming friends, of individual stories weaving into a collective narrative.
What I wanted most was to create a space where everyone could simply be. In a world that often demands too much, too fast, Linen Service is meant to be a refuge—a place where all are welcome, no matter who they are or where they come from. From the smiles to the laughter, I could feel that we had done this. We had built something genuine.
In that room, we reminded each other that true connection happens when we show up with intention—when we let kindness be our guide and remain open to one another’s truths. What we created that night was real, authentic, and full of possibility. It is a beginning I am proud of, and I can already feel the ripple of its impact.
This is only the start. Many more gatherings will follow, and I can’t wait to see what connections, what moments, we will share. If you were there, you’re part of something much bigger—something rooted in care, community, and mutual uplift. Linen Service is not just an event. It is a living, breathing space where we hold each other, honor each other, and grow together.
Welcome to Linen Service. We are just beginning, and I’m so glad you’re here with me.
